Testimonials
I recently purchased a home built by Brass Key Custom Homes. We love and are so proud of our beautifully crafted home - thank you! Jackie S.
Yesterday marked year 6 that we closed and moved into our dream home. This is our 3rd house, and I haven’t felt this way about the other 2. I’m still excited and pleased with our purchase and the decision to build with Brass Key! We aree making so many memories and loving our blessing! Just wanted you to know that if feels great to do business with a man of integrity and that stands behind his work, honest, intentional, and loves his family AND a Christian!! I pray God will continue to bless and expand all you put your hands to! Who knew I would gain my dream home and a brother, sister, and nieces!!!

Dear Alan,
2 years ago Brass key completed our dream home. Yes I sent you an email last year but had to do it again. Why you ask?
When I drive home and see my dream house, I smile!!! I can't believe we live in THIS house!!! This is our home where we nurture our children, make lots of cookies, and memories! After 2 years, we are still happy customers and thank God we crossed paths. We are Brass Key fans!!! You guys are awesome and I pray you will make other customers just as happy as you've made us. May God bless your efforts and increase your business. May He bless your families and keep you in perfect peace.
Sincerely,
Nikki G.

Awesome!! You guys build a great home. Lovin the house .. Nice job guys!! John W.
I visited yesterday and everything is beautiful. I love the appliances and the microwave is just like one I had in Garland. The floor is gorgeous! The “headboard” that Jason designed is going to be just perfect! I can hardly wait to take up residence.
My hat is always off to you for the calm and peaceful way you have conducted business. You seemed to remain unruffled when all else about you appeared to be in chaos. What a tremendous gift you have been given! You were steadfast and cool no matter what was thrown at you. And best of all, you exude honesty and integrity, rare traits in the world we live in today.
Bottom line, thank you for a job well done!

Regardless of how this project works out, I'm very confident that we will get your best effort. Janis and I are people persons and both of us agree that we could not have "lucked" into a better builder. Sometimes one gets a "real" feeling that someone is looking over ones shoulder.

Boys, you're doin' great work!!!! Thanks so much from the bottom of my heart!!! Yes, we've all lost sleep over a few "issues", but the (near) finished home is absolutely gorgeous and VERY well built/finished. Just wanted to let you know…Janice J.

Thanks again Alan for all your help. I know sometimes I may not always act like it but truly when I say it I really mean it. Your job has always been greatly honored. Gob bless you your a real AWESOME HOME BUILDER & friend.
When I think of what might have happened with another builder not of God's plan make me weak. I just thank God for placing us together. It reminds me of this scripture: I Corinthians: 3 ~9. If you have a chance read it. It's the promise for us both. Ronnie G.

Hi Alan,
I just wanted to send a quick email to thank you both for meeting with us today. We are so excited about the house and we can hardly wait to see all the changes we discussed. Dave and I kept telling each other how lucky we are to have both of you helping us to build our home. I think we are just as excited about working with you both as we are about the house itself!!
Thanks again,
Alexie V.

Love the house. Pulling up to the giant porch after work is like going back in time. Get compliments and dropped jaws from everyone that comes over. Big parties aren't the least bit crowded. Gave your number to a few people that plan on building in the next few years. I have a freaking diamond plate room. Still too cool.
We're getting a list, a small one so far, of little touch ups and malfunctions here and there that we'll give you a holler about around the end of Summer. Really small stuff like painters forgot to stain some small spot or a nail head pushing through texture. Biggest problem is the safe room door and NW bedroom doors hanging. You were right, the safe room door needed 5 hinges.
Please tell me I talked you out of selling your hot rod. They ain't making those things anymore and carshow season is here. Brett H.

Alan;
I will be mailing a thank you letter tomorrow that can be used as a testimonial if appropriate. Words however, cannot express how happy we are with the home and the exceptional job you guys did making it a reality.
Thanks

Hi Alan,
I wanted to say thank you for having us over to your home yesterday. Phil has always bragged on your workmanship and dedication, and during our meeting I believe we saw it for ourselves.
I have no doubt your creativity & class will give Kris & Nikole the forever home they desire.
I look forward to working with you and seeing the finished product.

Alan;
Debbie and I would like to extend our deepest appreciation for the wonderful home Brass Key built for us. The attention to detail that you and Kevin provided during the entire home building process was phenomenal.
We thank you both for making this experience an easy one. We did not have to watch every step or be involved in every decision because we knew that Brass Key’s experience in building custom homes was watching out for us. This was highlighted when Debbie and I made a short list of things we wanted addressed before move-in. Before we had a chance to provide Kevin the list, he had addressed every one of the items along with others that we would not have even thought about.
Special thanks are also in order for all the contractors that worked on our home. The architect did a wonderful job laying out exactly what we wanted. The brick masons, trim carpenter and painters are true artists. The suppliers were also available to answer questions and provided what we both needed and wanted. Allison was invaluable in helping us make our selections and she made the process very easy. I would also like to thank you for introducing us to Prime Landscape. Not only did they provide us with what Debbie has called the prettiest yard in the neighborhood, they will also be caring for the lawn going forward.
When we first started this process we explained that we have built custom homes in the past and really didn’t believe in the concept of a dream home. We wanted a home that was livable, comfortable, and pleasing to both the eye and the neighborhood. I have to say Brass Key changed our minds about a dream home. Both of you built a house beyond our expectations.
We would highly recommend Brass Key for anyone wanting to build their dream home.
Respectfully;
Billy A.

Home Buyers Get the Royal Treatment
"It's kind of neat. I don't advertize it, but it's something to tell the grandkids."
This is the response that Alan Patrick Wilson (whose grandmother was a genuine Italian Countess) gives when anyone asks him what he thinks of his royal ancestry. Alan Patrick Wilson. That's the name of a Mansfield home builder. However, he is not your average real estate agent.
Why would anyone say this? Well, it just so happens that Mr. Wilson is a descendant from the European house of Hapsburg, originally from Austria--through his grandmother, (now deceased). Her full name and title was Countess Victoria Cavaradossi d'Aspermont. (The d' designates either royal or aristocratic heritage.) His grandmother lived most of her life in Italy until she moved to Fort Worth after her husband died. In Italy, in addition to her royal blood, she was also a very famous artist and became wealthy from selling her many paintings. Then, when she moved to Fort Worth, she was able to make her living by teaching art classes at the Southwest Recreational Center in the south side of Fort Worth. Her attitude toward her royal ancestry was almost the same as her grandson's--she didn't advertise it.
Mr. Wilson's artistic flair took an architectural turn. He is a free lance home builder. Now, how did that happen? Let him explain: "It (his free lance home building business) just 'took off'. I started building houses on a part time basis. Then I got too busy, and I really enjoyed it. So, I left the corporate world and never looked back."
Mr. Wilson is one of those very fortunate entrepreneurs who can do as much of what he enjoys, do the most of what he enjoys and make a living by doing it. Interestingly, he only builds a few houses a year. (After all, custom-made products are seldom cheap, right?) Each of his designs are pre-sold.
How does he sustain himself in the business? "I don't advertise. It's strictly word of mouth. You build a good product, and word gets out."
Does he have any dealings in the raw real estate business? "Mainly in land." Of these land dealings, he gives charitable donations to his church. Specifically, he gives one-third of his donations (in the form of tithes) to Missionaries around the world.
His mother is also an artist; specifically, she is a retired flower-arranger and store decorator. She has murals, flower arrangements and paintings at her son's house. She has also painted for some of her neighbors and friends. His mother also ended up designing the logo for his business: Brass Key Custom Builders. She came up with the design when she took an Advertising Art Design Class in 1991. Isn't that an odd coincidence?
In addition to his unique ancestry, Mr. Wilson also has some unique hobbies-- somewhat unique for an artist, that it. He's interested in hot rods, car shows, and drag races. Specifically, he sponsors a drag race car that frequently wins and is breaking all kinds of records.
